John “JayDee” Daniel
Jay Dee grew up in Anne Arundel County where he became a Police Officer in 2002, he worked there until a duty related disability forced his retirement in 2016. Shortly after his retirement he was looking for a low impact way to remain fit, a friend suggested he try BJJ. In early 2018 he joined our gym with his family. After he received his blue belt he began assisting Professor Vicente with the kids program where his son still trains. Jay Dee currently holds the rank of brown belt. He has won several medals competing mainly in IBJJF.
