The Vicente Jr. Kids Competition Team, headquartered out of Conquest Martial Arts & Fitness in Pasadena/Millersville have participated in numerous local, national, and international competitions this year! Most impressively the team competed in two of the most prestigious BJJ tournaments in the world and came back with some awesome results...
In early may the team attended IBJJF Brazilian Nationals in Sao Paulo Brazil where 5 kids competed with 100% podium finishes, specifically - 1 Gold, 2 Silver and 2 Bronze.
The kids also attended the IBJJF Kids Pan American Kids tournament in July where 11 kids competed and brought home 7 medals- 2 Gold, 1 Silver, 4 Bronze.
The team has traveled all over the country, competing in numerous other events. They train incredibly hard and it shows. These young warriors have made their head coach 5th Degree De La Riva Black Belt, Professor Vicente Junior and their home gym, Conquest incredibly proud. Our kids are able to compete at a higher level with the support of the VJTeam Parent organization (VJTPO). The VJTPO has held numerous fundraisers allowing them to sponsor trips for coaches and team members and make charitable donations to the Jiu Jitsu community...
